- 2 / 5By Scott ClaryCame in here recently for a 3rd visit. First visit went well, 2nd visit went okay, just didn't really see our waiter much.. and on the 3rd visit... After 25 minutes of sitting down at a table, we never once saw our waiter. I tried getting the attention of other workers(respectfully) but had no luck. The food is great, but apparently you don't always get the chance to order here. Me and 2 others decided to walk out and go to Elgin Public House (I've been here about 100 times) which isn't too far down the road. E.P.H. owns this place so you can get the same food with great service all the time if you just go there instead. I wouldn't recommend Grumpy Goat until they figure out how to be consistent like EPH does.December 17, 2016
